Description:
With Gnome 43 / mutter 43 tools for interacting with VMs and remote systems - such and remote-viewer, VMM and gnome-boxes - are not receiving special keys correctly. This is reported and fixed upstream. Additional info: * package version(s): mutter 43.1-1 * link to upstream bug report: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/6107 Steps to reproduce: 1) Start an new VM in gnome-boxes. It will bring up the dialogue for grabbing the keyboard. Confirm this. 2) Press [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[arrow_right] (the shortcut to move to the next desktop in gnome). It works, but it shouldn't. Hotfixes: Some users report that deleting $HOME/.local/share/flatpak/db/gnome fixes the issue for the current session, but I was not able to confirm this with my setup. |
