Description:
there is /usr/lib/libspdlog.so.1.11 as well as /usr/lib/libspdlog.so.1.11.0
there used to also be /usr/lib/libspdlog.so.1
isn’t this missing now?
are multi-component so-versions a thing?

Yes, they are. soname can be whatever upstream defines.
