After upgrading to chromaprint 1.5.1-5, the errors happening in #74036 seem to be happening again, but with slightly different errors now. The WAV file in the old ticket just fails now, and a FLAC encoding of it prints the fingerprint but the process generates a failure error code with this message: ERROR: Error decoding the audio source (Resource temporarily unavailable) 1.5.1-4 works correctly. All 1.5.1-5 does is change an unofficial ffmpeg 5 patch by an official upstream commit, so this is un upstream issue. Please report it there.
