Details

Firefox doesn't REALLY install themes. I tried both with simple user, and being a root.
it says it needs restart to load the theme, but the theme is not loaded, and is not shown in the preferences --> themes menu

It depends on the theme as far as I see, "kids" doesn't work, won't even appear on the list after install/restart, while "mostly crystal" or pinball works. I cannot say how it behaves on other distros while my brother running it on Win can use more themes. What exactly is the reason for that I cannot say. Maybe some themes use graphics that need special libs. Unfortunately that is not really well documented there.

You're right, "Kids" doesn't work, but both "Apollo" and "AbstractMacNightly" work for me...

yes some themes work. is this because of themes??
Sorry before submit this bug report, I have tried 4 different ones and I was unlucky it seems.
