DetailsDescription:
gnome-keyring has functionality that can wrap an ssh agent and then manage ssh key unlocking through the keyring itself. The actual ssh agent was vended by gcr, which is a dependency of this package. However, a [recent change]( https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/commit/02a08d5478982d4248751f15fb881290521d6931) moved this agent out of gcr, and into the gcr-4 package. Now it is impossible to manage ssh keys with the keyring, without installing the gcr-4 package. Considering this, I would consider marking gcr-4 as an optdepends here. |
