Details

Sway 1.7 crashes when wlr_xdg_surface_from_wlr_surface() returns NULL, which is in spec & happens regularly.

Imho, a backport of the patch is necessary until upstream has a new release.

sway-1:1.7-10 has been pushed to [community-testing] with this patch included. Can you verify that your issues are fixed?
