DetailsDescription:
NOTE: I'm running vanilla Arch on this device, NOT SteamOS. The latest gnome-shell update (43.0) in [testing] dumps core on my Steam Deck [VLV0100]. This seems to be hardware specific, as my Desktop (Ryzen 7 1700 / Radeon RX 6600) and Laptop (Intel Core i7-1165G7) do not exhibit the same issue. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install the gnome group on a Steam Deck 2. Start gdm (or invoke gnome-shell manually) Additional Notes: I did some troubleshooting of my own (rebuilt gnome-shell/mutter against their most recent upstream commits), and this issue seems to be resolved (mutter being the culprit). I'll try bisecting the issue over the weekend to figure out which commit fixes the underlying issue. |

May bad! I've attached a log with a vanilla kernel! :P
