Description:
When suspending a virtual machine with an Arch guest, the script '/etc/vmware-tools/scripts/vmware/network' is executed. The script attempts to execute 'which ip'. Since I had a minimal fresh installation, the 'which' package wasn't installed and the script failed. Seems like a simple case of a missing dependency? Additional info: * package version(s): 6:12.1.0-1 Steps to reproduce: Install Arch on a VMware virtual machine, don't install the 'which' package and then attempt to suspend the machine from the host side. A script also fails when waking up the machine afterwards. |
