@MartinX3: Thanks for the ticket.

Unless you show clear evidence of upstream not using slirp4netns anymore (of which I could not find any in e.g. their release notes [1] or in their codebase [2]), this is not going to happen.
Netavark is the new default when it comes to the container-network-stack [3] (which the netavark package provides in version 2 and containers-common requires with >1).

If you have suggestions in regards to how to deal with slirpn4netns in an optional context, please do elaborate.

@dvzrv I'm sorry for the noise.
I think I confused my self with netavark, CNI and slirp4netns while installing rootless podman.
