Description:

man stalonetray shows:

SYNOPSIS

.HP 288u

stalonetray

DESCRIPTION
.PP Stalonetray is a stand-alone system tray (notification area) for X Window System/X11

Additional info:
* package version(s): 0.8.4-2

Steps to reproduce:
pacman -S stalonetray
man stalonetray

A temporary workaround is adding this to prepare() at the end:

sed -i "s| *<|<|g" stalonetray.xml.in

Not sure, if this is a problem in stalonetray.xml.in (my gut feeling tells me, that
you should be allowed to indent your XML sources) or rather in the docboox stylesheets
not correctly emitting troff/nroff/...
This task depends upon

This is surely an upstream problem. Have you reported it there?

Not yet, but I'm still trying to fix it the proper way.. :-)

BTW, https://github.com/kolbusa/stalonetray/blob/master/configure.ac

https://github.com/kolbusa/stalonetray/commit/64f4fe5fd6027f995e229bddbc5cd45e2a613581

So, the
sed -i "s|/usr/share/sgml/docbook/stylesheet/xsl/nwalsh|/usr/share/xml/docbook/xsl-stylesheets-$XSLVER|
g" configure.ac

in PKGBUILD is no longer necessary, I think..
