Distcc 3.4 in pump mode seems to be incompatible with python 3.10, crashing the include server. There's no upstream fix yet, but there's a build-time workaround in the upstream bug report: CFLAGS+=" -DPY_SSIZE_T_CLEAN" ./configure --prefix=....
