DetailsDescription:
There is a critical bug in Qt 6.4.0 WebEngine causing it to crash on websites using WebSockets, most prominently github.com Upstream report: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-107144 It has already been fixed upstream. It would be nice if this patch which is a simple one-liner could be applied to the arch package. As it is currently Qt WebEngine makes using any webengine based browser very difficult since simply navigating to some websites causes the entire process to crash. I dont think Qt 6.4.1 will be released for atleast another month as per https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_6.4_Release so it would be nice to get the arch package patched. Thank you. |
