Description:

The HAP family of codecs is available in ffmpeg since 2015 but they don't seem to be part of the ffmpeg package for encoding: ffmpeg -encoders does not list them (they are available for decoding on the other hand).

The ffmpeg-codecs man page lists the Hap encoder so I think it's same to assume it should be there.

Steps to reproduce:

$ ffmpeg -encoders | grep hap

^ should list hap encoder

To work one needs --enable-libsnappy to be passed to ffmpeg configure
