Every application that depends on glib2 will crash on startup with version 2.74.0-1. I have downgraded to 2.72.3-1 and my problem is fixed. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: Install glib2 2.74.0-1 Start program such as Firefox or gnome-terminal that depends on it. Note the crash. |

No issues for me with glib2 2.74.0-1: Firefox and gnome-terminal work as expected.

The gimp problem is now fixed in glib2 2.74.0-2. If there was a more generic problem, there'd be great hordes of folks piling on here by now. There must be something wrong with the reporter's system. Please take your issue to the proper support channels (forum/IRC/etc) to try and get help on the issue.
