DetailsMplayer (mplayer-1.0pre3.2-1.pkg.tar.gz) doesn't work with v4l or v4l2 ("No such driver"). The one built from source works fine.

This task depends upon
bug 4times hoping it would get immediate attention or something, that's quite rude. Also, I've addressed this issue before, I think it was you then too.
(To recap: this is one of those cases you'll have to build the pkg yourself, building v4l support in the past, made mplayer unstable as the code was a big hack)
I will give it another look sometime and see if they've cleaned it up enough to make it part of the mplayer package, it's simply too little-demanded a feature to hassle over just for a few users (none of which have complained except you, twice already)
bug 4timesOh, no! I've submit it just once :) I don't know what was wrong with flyspray.
Ok, no problem! It's not difficult for me to build it from source. I use v4l with mplayer just to visualize my vcr's output for subsequent capturing. I thougt the feature enabled in kernel should be included in packages. Maybe it'll be usefull to have some kind of list of the enabled/disabled features in each package.
Thanks
