Description:
Sometimes "undo" and "redo" do not work. I haven't noticed any pattern to the error. This happens when I work with anything, such as a mash. I do something, press Ctrl+z, then Ctrl+Shift+z and "redo" does not work. Even though I'm doing everything right.

Also, very often when working with materials I press Ctrl+z and "undo" does not work. Sometimes it is necessary to press Ctrl+z several times, and it cancels only one action.

Sometimes, when working with materials, I press Ctrl+z and instead of materials starts undoing the actions I did with the mesh.

I specify that I am not a beginner and I do all the actions correctly.

Additional info:
The problem occurs in all versions I have tried since 2.8.
This task depends upon

It's hard to prove this is an Arch packaging issue. Have you tried the pkg from blender.org? It seems to be a recurring problem as there are many references online when searching. Have you played with the settings [1]?

I've done everything possible and nothing helps. I also sent Blender a description of my problem.

After 1 month we haven't seen or received evidence this is an Arch packaging issue. Closing for now.
