Description:
When I boot up my IBM Thinkpad T30 my sound is mute even though I save and restore alsa levels on shutdown/reboot. When I go in to alsamixer the levels are the same as they were before. Muting then unmuting the PCM and Master mixers seem to be a workaround.

I added:
amixer set Master toggle; amixer set Master toggle
amixer set PCM toggle; amixer set PCM toggle
to my /etc/rc.d/alsa file, but this gets changed on upgrades.

Additional info:
Attached I have the output of lspci and lsmod

Steps to reproduce:
Shutdown or Hibernate the computer and bootup and resume.
