Details
If a package is pending a deletion, it should be not
possible to adopt the package.
At least, a warning might be displayed in the package page like "Package pending deletion, do not adopt", or that the link to adopt the package doe snot work. OR both. This is feasable when the package deletion request is made via aur web interface. There should be a way to clear the warning, if the package is not deleted. Of course, if the request of the deletion is made on the mailing list, or elsewhere, this not easily made. unless there is some UI to mark it as pending deletion. |

Strongly disagree. Some random person submitting a request that
may or may not be valid should not stop someone from adopting a
package. Even if it is valid, someone adopting it may invalidate
the reason for the request.
