For me and many others the libtorrent v2 releases of
qBittorrent have caused nothing but headaches, after years
of no issues with libtorrent v1.
The developers have now reverted back to v1.2 and I'd like the Arch package to do so as well if possible. https://www.qbittorrent.org/news.php “The default builds for all OSs switched to libtorrent 1.2.x (RC_1_2) from 2.0.x (RC_2_0). Builds for libtorrent 2.0.x are also offered and are tagged with RC_2_0. The switch happened due to user demand and perceived performance issues. If until now you didn't experience any performance issue then go ahead and use the RC_2_0 builds.” |

Please report actual issues. Maintaining two different libtorrent
versions in our repos is not feasible. If you want to stay on v1,
use the AUR package qbittorrent-libtorrent-v1 or the upstream
binary.
