Details

xchat-text in xchat package crashes. I did pacman -Syu, but it wont help. I used abs to get PKGBUILD of the xchat and other files. I did makepkg and installed the fresh package, but no help.

There is no xchat-text in the xchat package.

Yes there is.

$ pacman -Q xchat
xchat 2.8.2-1

$ pacman -Ql xchat
xchat /etc/gconf/schemas/apps_xchat_url_handler.schemas
xchat /usr/bin/xchat
xchat /usr/bin/xchat-text
xchat /usr/lib/xchat/plugins/perl.so
etc....

Yes there is.

$ pacman -Q xchat
