Description:

Chromium from Arch Linux's `extra/chromium` package cannot render some emoji properly, while Google's Chromium snapshot builds or Google Chrome can do. This one 🧏‍♀️( https://emojipedia.org/deaf-woman/ ) for example.

See the attachment, left window with black title bar is `extra/chromium`, right window with white title bar is Google's Chromium build, this one https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html?prefix=Linux_x64/1012733/ to be exactly. This is the version closest to the package `104.0.5112.79`, as it describes: https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/download-chromium/#downloading-old-builds-of-chrome-chromium

I'm using https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/noto-fonts-emoji-blob for emoji font, but switch to https://archlinux.org/packages/community/any/ttf-joypixels/ yeilds similar result.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
chromium 104.0.5112.79-1
* config and/or log files etc.
my fontconfig files: https://github.com/rocka/dotFiles/tree/b84802e/.config/fontconfig
* link to upstream bug report, if any

Steps to reproduce:

- install extra/chromium , launch an instance with `/usr/lib/chromium/chromium --user-data-dir=/tmp/cr1`
- download Google's Chromium build, launch an instance with `/path/to/chrome/linux/chrome --user-data-dir=/tmp/cr2`
- open https://emojipedia.org/deaf-woman/ on both instances and compare
