Description:

After updating the kernel from linux-lts-5.15.58-2 to linux-lts-5.15.59-1, my computer becomes very unresponsive, starting from boot. Even starting a Plasma session or a TTY session is extremely sluggish. Downgrading alleviated the problem, I have also tried redownloading linux-lts-5.15.59-1, which caused the same problem. I have also downloaded linux 5.18.16.arch1-1, which also runs without issues.

Here are the dmesg logs from linux-lts-5.15.59-1:

And the dmesg logs from linux-lts-5.15.58-2:
https://dpaste.com/H9VK8GKXM.txt

Looks like the iwlwifi might be the problem.

This should be fixed with 5.15.59-2 with KASAN disabled.

i too have had the same issue when i re-imagined a laptop using linux-lts, to resolve it i just re-imaged with normal linux and base install and runs fine

Thank you for letting me know about the upcoming version, I will be sure to check it out as soon as it's pushed on to the stable repo and request closure if it works as expected.

Also adam, I have also tested mainline linux and can confirm that it works without issue.
