Details

Every time i exit kaffeine player (kaffeine 0.4.2-1), i get an error message:

The application unknown (kaffeine) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEV)

The backtrace appears to be useless.

The system is up to date (pacman -Syu)

maybe it's because xine-lib is updated ... i will check this in some hours

rebuilding did not help --- i will contact the author ... maybe it's a known problem with xine-lib 1rc3c

ok, the problem is known by the author of kaffeine:

kaffeine crashes because a patch in xfree 4.4 to catch a memory leak is not written well --- the trouble comes that some memory is not allocated correctly

the kaffeine CVS contains a SIGSEGV handler to catch this ... but it is a workaround:
