DetailsDescription:
MAC address octets with their highest bit set get printed as 32-bit hex values. For example: "MAC address is: ffffff80:ffffff80:ffffff80:00:00:00" Considering that this bug is still present in the latest released version, has been a known bug for at least eight years, and no newer releases of iftop have been made since the bug was reported, I think the existing fix (see link in "Additonal info") should be added to this package. Additional info: * Package version: 1.0pre4-4 * Upstream bug report and patch to fix it: https://lists.beasts.org/pipermail/iftop-users/2014-March/000413.html Steps to reproduce: 1. Run iftop. 2. Quit iftop. 3. Note the printed MAC address. |
