Description:
Launching pcsx2-qt results in two error message windows. The first one says:

Resources directory is missing, your installation is incomplete.

After closing it, a second one appears:

Failed to initialize config.

Launching it from a terminal shows:

Program Path: /usr/bin/pcsx2-qt
AppRoot Directory: /usr/bin
DataRoot Directory: /home/MYUSERNAME/.config/PCSX2
Resources Directory: /usr/bin/resources

That resources directory looks wrong.

It seems the pcsx2 devs hate linux packages and _especially_ storing things in /usr/share: https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/pull/6131

pcsx2-git's solution to this is applying this patch https://github.com/kenshen112/pcsx2/commit/f77c66cc29b1bc0a73be2c9350347c705f3a91b4

Thanks Magnus for the patch link.

I have built it and tested on my machine. The program now starts, although it shows a popup message for "incompatible settings" (IMO this is okay, since we're using a "beta" version).

I have attached two patch files that can be applied to build the fixed package.
