python-xarray 2022.03.0-1 is installed with a distutils metadata version of 999, as reported e.g. by `pip show xarray` or by the presence of a `xarray-999-py3.10.egg-info` directory in the built package tree. I *think* this arises from the use of `setup.py build` from an unpacked sdist in the PKGBUILD, doing e.g. `pip install --no-binary=xarray xarray` (forcing an install from the sdist) installs with the correct version metadata. Steps to reproduce: $ pip show xarray |
