Description:
After upgrade from LXD version 5.2.1 to 5.3.1 LXD fails to start with following error message: "Failed to start the daemon" err="Failed applying patch \"storage_missing_snapshot_records\": Failed applying patch to pool \"default\": Instance disk effective override field \"size\" should not be stored in volume config" Downgrading to 5.2.1 resolves the issue and everything as working fine again. This issue may be related to https://github.com/lxc/lxd/issues/10640 When checking the comments and a related investigation in https://discuss.linuxcontainers.org/t/lxc-lxd-v5-3-volumetype-error-cause-lxc-copy-command-to-fail/14543 it seems that Upstream seems to have prepared patches for LXD v2.4 but it is not clear if they also fix this issue. |
