Description:
When attaching an Antelope Audio Orion 32 audio interface, I get "Not enough bandwidth for new device state." errors, and the interface does not work. The Orion 32 is pretty demanding on USB2, and it's generally recommended to use a dedicated USB host for the interface, so I have attempted every USB port on my machine (Lenovo P50), including the USB 3.1 (C) port with a USB A adapter. There should definitely be enough bandwidth on the USB C port, but the error is consistent on all ports. The interface is class-compliant, so it shouldn't need any funny blob drivers or special configuration. |

- a different PC
- a decent USB hub
- different older/newer kernels (LTS or -rc)
- reporting to kernel devs upstream
Please report back if you make any progress.
