Description:

MkvToolnix-GUI is rendering incorrectly. Fonts are unreadable, and controls are misaligned - cannot click on checkboxes, for example

Additional info:
* package version: 67.0.0-2
* config and/or log files etc.: launching from commandline gives "(mkvtoolnix-gui:111616): dbind-WARNING **: 14:19:23.329: AT-SPI: Error retrieving accessibility bus address: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.a11y.Bus was not provided by any .service files

Steps to reproduce: issue "mkvtoolnix-gui" at Bash prompt. See attached capture for example of rendering issues.

Okay, consider me an idiot for this one, though the apparent breakage occurred from one version to another without me changing any preferences. I can't say which version prior to this one did not have the issue in question.

In the current version of the GUI, in Preferences -> GUI, ticking the box labeled "Disable scaling for high DPI displays" seems to have fixed the issue. I am now able to interact with all controls and read all labels as expected.

My fail, my bad, and I apologize for bothering you.
