DetailsDescription:
Further details are also available in the forum: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2039054#p2039054 The problem is that with glib2 2.72.2-1 clicking in the current (2021 and 2022) versions of the Unity Editor stops working after a couple of clicks or when entering play mode. The glib2 package is definitely the culprit as verified by me and someone else on the forums. Downgrading to 2.72.1 solves the issue. I tried bisecting the package source however if I build glib2 2.72.1 on a current installation then the issue also persists with the package I built manually. There may be some differences in the dependencies that actually cause this behavior. I've reported the bug upstream: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/2660 however the issue was closed unless a minimal reproducer is found. |

As suggested by the glib devs, there is no apparent bug in glib to action. AUR pkgs are not supported, sorry.
