It has been few months since my mirror went live. Since there's no tier 1 mirror outside China in East Asia, I, the admin of funami.tech mirror, would like to apply for Tier 1 mirror status. Not to undermine Chinese mirror operators but China's internet is unreliable (due to censorship and stuff) so I would like to host Tier 1 one myself for reliable, fast mirror for East Asians.

I've promoted you to tier 1. Note that it may take up to one hour for the IP whitelist to be updated.

Please switch to one of the *_tier1 modules on "rsync://rsync.archlinux.org". Reply here once you've switched so I can close this request.

If you want to sync more often than once an hour, please consider using a script like this[1] to reduce the amount of rsync traffic when there are no changes.

I just updated my sync script to use rsync.archlinux.org. I have been using that particular script since I started mirroring Arch (and others) so I also changed my cron interval to every 30 minutes. After my mirror is on the rsync whitelist it should just work.

Tried again now and it works! It will automatically sync every 30 minutes if there's a change.
