DetailsDescription:
Since version 0.47 openmw requires bullet to be built with double precision. Openmw also benefits a lot when bullet is built with multithreading support. bullet has always been single precision on archlinux, possibly for performance. archlinux openmw package rempoved the dependency on bullet and no longer uses bullet system library. openmw trunk in aur depends on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/bullet-multithreaded in which I enabled DP & multithreading. Currently no package in archlinux repos depends on bullet, only some aur packages do. Please built bullet with double precision and multithreading so openmw can use system library again. For aur pacakges that can't use DP bullet, a new aur package (bullet-single ?) could be created. |
