openmw gained support for ffmpeg 5 with https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/-/merge_requests/1941 .

The fix used in https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/73861 to force ffmpeg4.4 usage is no longer necessary.

Please apply that MR and switch depedency to latest ffmpeg .

Can admin change it to "use latest ffmpeg" or similar ?

Works fine with just ffmpeg 5 installed and also with both ffmpeg 5 & 4.4 present.

Thanks for adding the cherrypicked patch.

Could you also look at or comment on https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/75072 ?
