DetailsFirst of all, apologies for complaining about an outdated package — I know that's bad form. In this case however, the mismatch between Audacity and Arch's updated libavformat (ffmpeg) version broke Audacity's import/export functionality, and it's been a while. I don't know if the maintainers were aware of this.

It looks like this is a bigger problem than I thought; Arch is ahead of what Audacity currently supports: https://github.com/audacity/audacity/issues/2388
