Does it work with mainline kernel? Sounds more like a firmware/UEFI-bios issue. At least not a packaging bug.

I have tested on the mainline kernel, and it didnt repeat this problem, in last two days!
Thankyou

Please check the kernel dmesg log for changes after resume and file an upstream bug.

I need to add: the problem surfaced just now in the main line kernel also.

Is this still an issue? Then please report it upstream to the kernel tracker. Many updates went to the stable branches since the report.
