Description:
This error seems similar to these reports:
https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798485
https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798486

I am not using flatpak, however.

All reports show up empty. Print previews also. No errors in the Gnucash trace file as far as I can see (in attachment). The reports do show up as html files in the /tmp directory.

Running journalctl -f does give an error each time I load up a report. See second attachment.

It seems to have to do with webkit2gtk, but I couldn't find any similar problems online. I am running version 2.36.3-1 of that, for what it's worth.

Running "WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 gnucash" does not resolve the issue, as is suggested in the above bug reports.

I have made a bug report with Gnucash, but they directed me to make a bug report with the distro. (See https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798549)

Additional info:
* Gnucash package version: 4.10

Is this still happening? webkit2gtk was dumping core according to your journal. Both gnucash and webkit2gtk have been updated since bug was opened.

Sorry for the late response. Yes, it is still happening, unfortunately. I attached a recent journalctl log of when it happens. After I start up gnucash, there is a stream of core dumps from webkit2gtk.

Ok, next step is to see if you can get some meaningful backtraces [1][2][3]. This will greatly help the dev's.
