DetailsDescription:
kImageAnnotator 0.6.0 has recently been released in the Arch repos, which introduces new controls like crop for example. Spectacle can take advantage of them since version 22.04 at least, however a rebuild appears to be required for that. I rebuilt Spectacle locally with kImageAnnotator 0.6.0 installed and the new controls appeared for me. Additional info: * Spectacle 22.04.1-1 * Upstream commit mentioning the kImageAnnotator requirement: https://invent.kde.org/graphics/spectacle/-/commit/49b48a9aba30ba0644b2709e571a185b807e38e6 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Spectacle 2. Click the Annotate button 3. Notice that there is no Crop button |
