Details

Description: Refreshing a LaTeX pdf in evince produces many invisible characters.

Downgrading poppler-* from version 22.05 to 22.03 solves the problem.

Steps to reproduce:
1) compile a LaTeX document
2) open the pdf in evince, keep evince open
3) modify the LaTeX document and recompile it
4) refresh the pdf in evince, some characters are invisible now

Thanks! I have confirmed that the bug has been fixed in 22.05.0-2.
However, the poppler developers are still looking to improve the code.
