Description:

After updating wireplumber to 0.4.10 I can no longer connect my bluetooth headphones

All I see in the logs are:
appindicatorsupport@rgcjonas.gmail.com[1736]: unable to update icon for Mattermost1
bluetoothd[882]: src/service.c:btd_service_connect() a2dp-sink profile connect failed for 74:45:CE:DA:81:5B: Protocol not available
gnome-shell[2860]: Attempting to connect to 74:45:CE:DA:81:5B

Downgrading to 0.4.9 fixes the problem.

Turns out I had copy of the config under ~/.config/wireplumber/bluetooth.lua.d/50-bluez-config.lua. The bluez.monitor is enabled now by default, which AFAIU wasn't the case previously. In the end the old config made wireplumber 0.4.10 not register an a2dp sink, hence nothing worked.

The bug can be closed now.
