Description:

Looks like hp-uiscan is looking for a icon from /usr/share/icons/Humanity/devices/48/printer.svg
which doesnt comes with arch/manjaro thus its icon is blank and giving errors about couldnt reach its path

If it will be patched the related file in orijinal tarball is : hp-uiscan.desktop.in

There's humanity-icon-theme in AUR. Arch philosophy doesn't allow to suggest AUR packages as optional dependencies. But feel free to install it.

There's should be no need to patch it to use a different theme. hp-uiscan start fine here without this icon theme installed.
