https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/merge_requests/15258?commit_id=7ab05e3c3fe34ea7f8d7345b9229c163e42c3600 has been merged to mesa trunk and disables building of vc1dec, h264 enc/dec and h265 enc/dec codecs by default. The first stable mesa version with this change will be mesa 22.2.x which is expected to be released in Q3 2022 . Unless the new opion video-codecs is used to re-enable those codecs mesa 22.2.x and later will have almost no HW accelartion . I created https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=276031 to discuss this change and was asked to file a feature request to ensure archlinux developers would be made aware of it. |

They're enabled with 22.2.0-1 currently in Arch Testing.
