I have this bug since months. You can check it here: https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/issues/5902
The cursor size in OBS is different from the system cursor size. In that bug report another archlinux user had it, so it could be an archlinux bug (??).. The workaround is to run obs with "XCURSOR_SIZE=24 obs"... I edited the .desktop file (/usr/share/applications/com.obsproject.Studio.desktop), the Exec line, to Exec=env XCURSOR_SIZE=24 obs and now the workaround is permanent.

What DE are you running OBS under? I'm unable to reproduce this issue with the current version (27.2.3-1) under sway.
