how did you configure the Qt style?

As usual, I set it in *lxqt-config-appearance* (GUI) from where the values are passed to ~/.config/lxqt/lxqt.conf. In the latter, you find the section *[Qt]* with the values *style=kvantum*. I wouldn't know other ways to do it, do you? Anyway, that configuration is working with featherpad v. 1.2.0-1 after a downgrade.

The same behavior is performed in Xfce configuring Qt via qt5ct: flawless with version 1.2.0-1, only the fusion theme with v. 1.2.0-2.

The change from featherpad 1.0.1-1 to -2 was a rebuild for Qt6, so it makes sense that using tools that configure styles for Qt5 aren't properly configuring styles.

I'm not aware of any support for Qt6 in lxqt or any of its tools (more discussion here: https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt/discussions/2139 ), and qt5ct is definitely not going to work for Qt6, so I'd recommend trying qt6ct instead.

*qt6ct* is definitely working in Xfce together with featherpad v. 1.2.0-2 but on LXQt, qt6ct is conflicting with LXQt's Qt plugins. (See <https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt/discussions/2223>) I'm afraid there won't be a solution till LXQt is ported to Qt6.
