Description:
After upgrading the kernel, the lid switch on my Lenovo Ideapad 100S stops producing an ACPI event. Additional info: * good: linux-5.17.2.arch3-1 * bad: linux-5.17.3.arch1-1 Steps to reproduce: * Boot linux-5.17.3.arch1-1 * Close and open the laptop lid -- systemd doesn't suspend, nor does acpi_listen show the button/lid events * Downgrading to linux-5.17.2-arch3-1 resolves the problem I suspect the following kernel error messages, which appear during boot with the newer kernel, are related: [ 0.274749] byt_gpio INT33FC:02: Failed to translate GPIO pin 0x0012 to IRQ, err -517 [ 0.274749] byt_gpio INT33FC:02: Failed to translate GPIO pin 0x0006 to IRQ, err -517 [ 0.274749] byt_gpio INT33FC:02: Failed to translate GPIO pin 0x0018 to IRQ, err -517 [ 0.274753] byt_gpio INT33FC:02: Failed to translate GPIO pin 0x0002 to IRQ, err -517 |
