Description:
Since the update to Gnome 42 the Gnome shell crashes on closing a window in the activities view.

Steps to reproduce:
Open window -> go to activities view -> close a window in the activities view -> gnome shell crashes

The crash does happen only if /org/gnome/desktop/interface/enable-animations is false

Using X11 the shell is simply restarted and no windows are closed but with wayland the screen turns black, further login attempts are not successful and I must restart the system using TTY.
