Details

The program looks for libcurl.so.3, while the current version is 4.0, so it fails. Recompiling it fixes the problem.

Ok, I'm totally gone, you're right. I was fooled by the minor revision upgrade (curl 7.15.5 -> 7.16.2) which doesn't have anything to do with libcurl.so 3.0.0 -> 4.0.0, so I thought it had been overlooked on ardour, I'm sorry. You can close this one.

well, if needs libcurl and so it must get rebuild in testing, I was just confused if I missed something. But as a matter of fact it was'nt on my screen and I would have forgotten it. I change the Category. That's all I wanted to know
