Details

Description: until version 6.02, the settings windows of XScreenSaver was displayed in the chosen locale for the OS. Version 6.03 is displayed in English, even if the OS locale was set in another language (French, in my case).

Steps to reproduce: update xscreensaver to 6.03 and show its settings dialog, on an Arch Linux system installed in another language than English.

Broken ca.po, the fix from [1] produced a package with xscreensaver.mo message files.

Bug still present in 6.04. It has even worsened, because the launcher for the settings panel is now labeled in English too (“XScreenSaver Settings“ instead of “Économiseur d’écran” on a French installation).

I thought that the patch mentioned here would be added to the package.

The ca.po breakage (still in 6.06) is because the file encoding is wrong. Run e.g. iconv -f ISO8859-1 -t UTF-8 -o po/ca.po ca.po.orig
