DetailsDescription:
Loading additional plugins in Paraview does not seem to work. For example, trying to load the StreamLinesRepresentation plugin gives the error ERROR: In /build/paraview/src/ParaView-v5.9.1/Remoting/Core/vtkPVPluginLoader.cxx, line 530 vtkPVPluginLoader (0x55cc55deb040): libvtkStreamLines.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The plugin libraries are there, i.e. /usr/lib/paraview/plugins/StreamLinesRepresentation/StreamLinesRepresentation.so /usr/lib/paraview/plugins/StreamLinesRepresentation/libvtkStreamLines.so but it seems like the RPATH isn't set correctly somewhere and it can't find libvtkStreamLines.so in the same folder as the plugin. Possibly due to setting -DCMAKE_SKIP_INSTALL_RPATH=ON? Additional info: * package version 5.9.1-11 * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: Start ParaView and go to Tools -> Manage Plugins, select a plugin and click Load Selected. This should show the error above. |

Reason for closing: Fixed
Additional comments about closing: It was indeed RPATH, fixed in 5.9.1-13 (5.10 is currently blocked by other issues).
