Although Perl is commonly installed I think it should be added as a dependency as snmpd won't run without it. Without perl installed it produces this error: /usr/bin/snmpd: error while loading shared libraries: libperl.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Additional info: * package version(s) net-snmp 5.9.1-3 Steps to reproduce: Install net-snmp on a system that doesn't have perl installed. |
