Details
Description: On my Dell precision 5540, after upgrading
upower from (0.99.15-1 -> 0.99.16-1), the laptop display
stays active when the lid is closed and the laptop is
docked. Previously it would turn off and when I went into
display settings only the two monitors connected to the dock
would show.
Additional info: * package version(s): 0.99.16-1 * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Reproducible on Xorg and Wayland session /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state shows correct state, so lid closing is detected Downgrading to 0.99.15-1 solves the problem Steps to reproduce: 1. Start laptop 2. Plug into dock 3. Wait for dock connected screens to come on 4. Close laptop lid Expected: laptop display is no longer active Actual: laptop display stays active |

Had to revert to version 0.99.15-1.
As soon as you upgrade to 0.99.16 , the "lid close actions" dissapear from this menu: https://i.imgur.com/jJnr3Fn.png
That's why both my laptops stopped suspending or shutting down. Those options are not there anymore
As recommended, I downgraded to upower 0.99.15-1 and every time I closed my laptop LCD my external monitor automatically became the primary screen in Gnome.
